Pretty sweet up here isn't it? Sometimes it takes meeting folks new to the area to "see it all over again" through their eyes.

Talk about a small world! We stayed at the San Ran as well in July! As it turned out, there were 8 of us from Ontario there one night and we all live not any more than 100 miles from each other!!!
The guys in the next room were from New Orleans. They were telling us stories about the hurricane Katrina and the damage done. One guy had 32 feet of water above his house! The guys on the other side of us were from somewhere in Mississippi and one of them was riding an older 450 twin Kawasaki. One guy from New Orleans came over and asked if the 450 twin rider had been to New Orleans because he looked familar. Turns out he's an house inspector and he was in this guys house checking the damage after the hurricane!

A group of us have been renting a house in the Gap area during Mays 2 stroke gathering for years now and that has worked out very well and so affordable , at the group rate we get a nice house for around $160 each for the week including most food .

Mark you would be welcome for sure but soon after word was out we again were getting the house it quickly was grabbed up .. sorry .. but there are many homes for rent in the area at a great value if you can get a group together .http://www.rentalhouses.com/search/Robbinsville-NC" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; or maybe http://www.frbo.com/property4.jsp?id=2334" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Hmm... Perhaps this can be scheduled in to my USA trip next year... Sounds pretty good. Won;t be on a bike though, which is a bit lame.
