Its now approx FIVE months till the May2010 meeting, just a reminder for all those going.

Well, I have a trailer, and a few good-running bikes. I guess that's all I need! I'm really looking forward to it, as usual, except for it being Memorial Day weekend..... The last time we had it on that weekend, the LEOS were really a problem.

Weather???? dont even mention last year to me. It rained everyday we were there, and to crown it off one day at the Gap it hailed for a while.
It was not a good time for the days we were there, lets pray for a dry 10 like we had in 08.

Being the last week in May, the weather should be better. BUT, every year I've been there, we've had some rain.

Whats that you're saying Pikey????? i have to fly 1600 miles to get to Miami, then drive nearly 500 miles up to Daves in Jacksonville.
Then we load up the bikes and gear then drive 10 hours from Jax to the Gap,,,, and youre complaining????

All that traveling just to stare at the rear bumper of a Buick.

I was there once on a memorial day weekend. All weekend got stuck behind buses and Buicks. Not on the Gap perse, but on the other good roads in the area. Very frustrating following a bus at 10 mph.

Now why were you doing that,,, i just twist my right wrist and that usually gets rid of the problem and i get to see it twice, once in front of me and then behind me in the mirrors getting really small.
