Can anybody ID the tail/brake light on that 750? That's precisely the look I want on my 550.

The seat is a Dark Wing from http://www.hotwingglass.com
RedZone has the same seat.

The seat pad is available with either the snap attachments or velcro.

The fender was shortened and the taillight is from a Honda VT500 Ascot. The seat is indeed from Hotwing and was designed to be for a Gold WIng.

VERY nice!

You just answered questions I was about to post. Question:

How is the seat mounted and were modifications required to make it fit and/or mount it?

RedZone has brackets that were welded onto the frame.

Hotwing Glass sells a few different tail lights that they will mount on the seat for you.
RedZone has one of those tail lights.

Am probably going to use the same seat on the 72 GT550 cafe project that I’ve just started.
Am planning on using the hinges from the stock seat, but I haven’t got it 100% figured out yet.

You have to get creative to mount the seats. Every one is done differently. Mine is done with brackets attached to the shock tops, with Dzus fasteners, rubber spacers, hand-made front brackets, etc, etc.

Seviston, I think yours must handle even better than mine. Very nice build.
