Good for you Phil, lets see that M30, it was the first Suzuki engine I owned and modified, I had it mounted in a British made Go-kart back in the late 60s.

Will get some pictures of it on the forum as soon as I get a new camera , old sony screen went blank ,not allowed to buy a new 1 , as xmas is approaching ???.
The M30 was bought buy my dad in 64 I remember going to the shop with him and riding pillion with him , he used it a fair bit, it was,nt the most powerfull beast and 2 up coming up a steep hill you could get overtaken by milk floats. but I passed my test on it in 71 ,and used it on and off for years as a stand in when I sold or repaired my bikes. I often wondered what happened to it and when my sister sold the old familly home ,I found it in a celler , it was seized oil had seized the piston ring in the groove solid and a ring cracked getting it out . but stripping it down all was well ,parts have been pretty easy to get hold of all original of course wheels had to be replaced as rust had eaton them away ,and new stainless spokes were fitted the frame was stripped and repainted and the engine lightly polished every thing was stripped and cleaned , switches and electrics checked and every thing assembled over a 2 year period, new tyres and rubbers fitted and it looks better than new , have spent a fair bit on it ,but it has great memories tied up in it, still got to get battery and plug sorted and filled with oil ect, ,no rush .. Dad still alive and kicking and at 83 still ready to give it a test run. ,looks very small !! , pretty rare I guess not a lot sold in the UK . will get back in the garage after xmas and once weather is a bit warmer, get it started and then start on the T 500 , . Phill

Well good for you on the restoration Phill, while not very popular they are an important bike to the Suzuki history time line. For those of you not familiar with this model, it was basically Suzukis answer to the Honda C100 which later became known as the C50/C70.

Welcome to the board, Phil. I would DEARLY love to see a picture of that 350. To this point, I have only ever seen/heard of the orange/white or blue/white paint jobs on the 1972 T350. See if you can find a pic of yours. I'm really curious...... :?:

Thank you for that, Pedro. I wondered if this might not be another case of those "unusual" Brit registration regulations rearing its ugly and confusing head.....
