Hi
I have been trying for months to register on here, but for some reason the verification link never arrived, although my email was correct, anyhow tried another address and here I am

Little bit about me, originally from the UK and back in the 70s, the must have bike for 16 year olds back then was the Yamaha FS1E( Fizzy). I had one on my 16 birthday in 76 and wrecked it, 5 years ago I acquired another one and still have her. Back then the Suzuki GT185 was another must have bike if you were of age, my lust for bikes didn’t go any further than the Fizzy back then as girls took over.

Fast forward 44 years and I’ve just hit a big birthday and now the girls are just a distant memory, so what else does a man do, I know a GT185, so now I’m a proud owner of 2 of the bikes from my youth.
The GT is an American import, not by me and not done any of the work on her, I’m sure there will be many questions from me on here.

I will try and post some pictures of my bikes, tried uploading, but files are to big, will have to try and resize

Welcome to the forum.

You can not upload pics to the forum. Create an account at a photo sharing website, upload your pics there, & include links to the pics in your posts here. I use Flickr.com -- its free & easy to use.

Welcome and thanks for a proper intro on your introductory post. I think you’ll find this site a friendly and helpful bunch.

I use Image Size (free) to resize pics on my tablet to 640x480 and then post/ upload direct from the site on the manage attachments prompt.
