Hello From Arkansas.

When I was probably 8 years old my brother had a GT750. He was much older than me obviously. As a favor to our parents, he took me on a camping trip and put me on the back of his bike and told me not to fight the leaning during turns. It was my first real introduction to what made a motorcycle work. He explained the cooling, the brakes, the way the motor worked and that began a life long lust after all things with two wheels.

Fast forward over 40 years and I have had several motorcycles, but in keeping this short I will just keep it to my current bikes, a DL650 Vstrom, DRZ400S Supermoto and a BKing.

As of last Saturday I send off a cashiers check to buy my own GT750. I had the good fortune to speak to the previous owner of the bike, even though I had to buy it through a dealership.

It is a blue 72 with 11K miles, and has been with the previous owner the last 43 years. I am waiting on the check to clear so that I can arrange shipping from the North East to my home here in Arkansas. When it gets here I will post pictures of Hedorah and Godzilla together.

That is nice and I love the period correct accessories on it. Looks like the only thing it needs are the rear black cones at each exhaust pipe end. What a beauty!

The previous owner said that there was not a way to weld the cones in, but since i have never owned one i won't really know what he means until i get my eyes on it. If anyone is in the Arkansas area, message me maybe we can ride.
