Two GT550's

Post by Wayne Meuir »

I have two GT550's:
One is a 73, complete and in pretty good condition overall except for the paint and seat. Body work dead straight. Fork ears tweaked. turns over with strong compression. I'm betting it will run with a carb job. Chrome better than average, paint really faded, seat cover toast, seat pan may be usable, can't tell without taking the cover off. Guage lenses clouded badly.
One is a '74 with a few parts missing, seat is toast, engine turns over with pretty strong felt compression. Tank perfectly clean inside, but has a few dents. I have a spare tank that is dead straight and has been cleaned using electrolysis but has not been coated. Currently has about a pint of 2-stroke oil in it to keep rust from reforming.
At least one extra set of pipes and a couple of boxes of other small parts.
I'll take $600 for all of it.
