Sorry I missed the first post. You snooze you lose as they say! I am actually looking for a control arm. The one on my latest M seems to be slightly shorter at the threaded end.
Could it be from the earlier models?

Sorry Roy, I'd pass on it and let you get it, but I also need one for my B resto. How much is yours too short at the threaded end.

No worries Allan. I'll take some measurements on the control arms on both my Kettles for comparison and post some pics when I get home this weekend.

So here's a couple of pics of my two control arms. They are identical except the threaded end on the one is half of the other one. There is no sign it's been cut, so I'm wondering if they are different part numbers. Can anyone shed any light?

As far as I know, there was only ever one part number (16761-31201) - odd
