Suzuki 2 Strokes

Hi all.
I am in need of some parts for a GT550. I need a Suzuki P/N 09263-38005 bearing. This is one of the 2 caged needle bearings for newer style clutch hubs modded by the starter clutch service bulletin, or 76 and later clutches.
OR
I could also use the earlier style starter clutch big gear. The one that sits behind the clutch, and inserts into the starter clutch 3 roller assembly.

My starter clutch big gear is trashed, so i'd like to either find a new/used gear, or I also have a complete later style, but I'm missing that one caged bearing.

If anyone can help, let me know.

Go with the later style clutch! The part no. for the bearing is 09263-38005. If Suzuki can't supply one, try a local bearing supplier. The dimensions are 38idX43odX26w mm.

I'd prefer to go with the later style, but I'm having trouble locating that bearing. Suzuki has discontinued them, and I haven't been able to locate one anywhere else, except for one on ebay in Thailand for $50, but thailand parts always take about 2 months to get here it seems.
Hadn't thought of a bearing store, not sure if there are any even around here, but I'll look into that option. In the meantime if someone has one, new or used, I'll buy it. Even if its a complete clutch and starter clutch assembly, that would work too, if all the parts are still there. Thanks.

I have the early 'big gear' if it comes to that. For that matter I have the entire assembly. But by all means possible, you need to go with the later style. The early ones have a tendency to self destruct. That's why Suzuki changed it.

Check with a local Honda/Acura dealer for part number 91104-P21-008. If that doesn't work for you, take the bearing you have to some of the local transmission shops and see if they can match one up for you. If you still can't find the bearing, I've got a used one here.

Wow, just searched web and found this posting to alternative to a bearing I needed.

I did find one Suzuki NOS bearing, but this clutch needs two as noted. So used the Honda part number from this circa 2011 post and $20 bucks later I having it coming. It does advertise to be same size.... When I get the Suzuki and Honda part in I'll compare and reply.

This continues to be a great sight for those of us with addiction to old Suzuki 2 strokes
