more about the bike:

I bought the bike back in June of 2011 from a guy who METICULOUSLY and painstakingly restored the bike from the inside out. Engine was rebuilt with new rings, bearings and seals. cylinders were honed and pistons coated to match each cylinder. the crank was rebuilt and the crank seals have been replaced. the transmission was rebuilt with new bearings, bushings and seals. the hydraulic front brake has new seals. the fork seals have been replaced and the oil replaced. it has a modern headlight that is brighter than the original. the carbs have new jets and floats. new steering stem bearings. new swing arm bearings. the tires are continental and lightly used. the rims have new spokes, tightened and balanced. all new cables with corrosion resistant inserts. new oil injection lines. new ignition points. electrical system has been thoroughly tested, regulator, stator, rotor, rectifier, coil. The starter gear has been replaced with a stronger version from a later bike. starter works. everything on the bike is functional. I'm sure there is more that I am forgetting.

I have a list of over 100 unique Suzuki genuine parts that were used in the rebuild. I have two shop manuals for it and two CD's with other documentation. also have misc spare parts including an extra tank.

this bike runs flawlessly. I checked compression and the spark plugs the other day and the plugs are as perfect of a color as I have ever seen. the bike was rebuilt at 20k miles and now sits at 25k miles. Amsoil interceptor is the only oil that has been used. the exhaust ports are still spotless.

the ugly: It will need one exhaust baffle. the other three are intact and functional. The right mirror is missing as is the plastic left side cover. The right side cover needs paint and I also have the emblem for it. the trip odometer is currently out of the bike but I have all of the pieces for it. other than those minor flaws I doubt you will find anything else wrong with the bike. oh and the seat is a cheap custom job and obviously not original. the foam is original and it has a weather barrier between the foam and the new cover.
