J, K tank revisited

Post by Coyote »

Much has been done since I last offered this tank. Derusted $6. POR-15 lined $15. Glass bead blasted clean $25. Primer $10.
The tank is ready to painted the color of your choice. It has been wet sanded with 1500 grit paper. The reason for 2 different colors is they were out of grey. This is a solid, straight 38 year old tank. The rust wasn't bad, but I have the incentive to do things right. Now that it is lined, it wont ever rust again.
I am also offering up a nice chrome gas cap. It has 1 small indentation on it. It also has a brand new seal.Though not the right key, I have a key that will operate the cap lock.
Tank $60.00. Cap $40.00. Pair $95.00. You pay to ship. If you buy the pair, I have the hinge and latch pins and I will include them.

UPDATE!! Gas cap has been sold. Pictures removed.

I always use two different colors when I primer and sand tanks. The pimples and dimples show up better.
