Original Tools Wanted

Post by oldjapanesebikes »

Folks - I'm looking for four items that were included in original Suzuki factory tool kits, for some restorations I'm either trying to complete or planning to start in the next year:
  • - the Box Wrench handle, item 9 in the image below, and part number 09816-00013 - I need 1 of these
  • - the Universal Wrench, item 16 in the image below, and part number 09816-00018 - I need 1 of these
  • - the Universal Wrench handle, item 17 in the image below, and part number 09816-00019 - I need 1 of these
  • - the points wrench, item 18 in the image below and part number 09930-20111 - I actually need 3 of these
Just email or PM me if you can assist - thanks ! 8)

Hi Ian,

Any chance you could post a pic of the original tools that you already have? I'm trying to cobble together a set and ain't really sure if some that I have are originals or not. It'd be nice to have a pic to compare with.

Thanks, Mike

For a GT750 Mike ? Take a look here:

I am still looking for the original tool kit bits for the 1968 T500 I'll be rebuilding next year as it has a couple of unique items - they will surface eventually 8)

Ah, now that's what I call service

Nice to see the real life examples - I have both the black and red handles for the screwdrivers - so nice to see which is correct. I think I asked this question once before but should all the bigger tools e.g. wrenches and pliers have the "S" on them? I have tools that fit the description with an "S" and without.
