Need a used set of baffles for a 76 GT500

Does this need to be original, if not I think GT750 baffles will work also.

Good grief, those are still available from Suzuki for $160 each. Somebody needs to make some replacements for them.

I noticed in the thread that 'Strainer' deleted everything in his posts. Is something going on with him? On the baffles, are their any rule of thumb as to when they should be pulled for cleaning?

any rule of thumb as to when they should be pulled for cleaning?
I pull my 550 baffles every year, mainly to make sure they don't get seized in place. With my pump cut back as it is, there's just some dry soot on the long perforated tube that can be removed with a few swipes of a wire brush. One of these years I will have to replace the packing though..... :roll:

i have stock baffles if youstill need as well as other 1973 t500 parts fron a upgraded retro racer project im working on. all parts in very good condition. can send picks.
