As above - the seat on my gt250a is shot to pieces.
Cheers

Re: Wanted - GT250 (GT380 if fits) seat or seat base
I think its not the same as the GT380. The base on the 380 is hinged on one side. Isn't the GT250 bolted down both sides? I know it was on the GT250M, I am assuming it is the same on the GT250A.

absolutely correct 185 up to 750, the only model without the hinged seat was the gt250 that's why decent rear mudguards are so hard to come by. i mean, who is going to take the seat off, wipe the mudguard down, give it a quick coat of wd40 and replace the seat, every time you come in from the rain? one of suzuki's total cock-ups

And pre-X7 GT250 seat will fit (that’s 1973 — 1977). T250 & T350 seats should also fit.

You got it - the rear mudguard is 'nadgered' as well! Any idea what else would fit here (plastic GSX250?) I'm not bothered about originality at this stage but I won't do anything that can't be put right ..eventually!dollydog wrote:absolutely correct 185 up to 750, the only model without the hinged seat was the gt250 that's why decent rear mudguards are so hard to come by. i mean, who is going to take the seat off, wipe the mudguard down, give it a quick coat of wd40 and replace the seat, every time you come in from the rain? one of suzuki's total cock-ups

Re: Wanted - GT250 (GT380 if fits) seat or seat base
yes, the t/gt500 seat isn't hinged, but at the end of the day the 500 is just a big 250 500 rear mudguards aint exactly common over here, unless you want a pile of rust
currently - when it finally gets here - i'm trying an rd350 rear mudguard repro. but can't comment on how far off it will be til i actually offer it up to the bike.
cheers, dd.

I don't think the words , 'just' and 'T500', belong in the same sentence.karl pa wrote:I think you are confused, I think you meant to say the 250 is just a small 500dollydog wrote:but at the end of the day the 500 is just a big 250
