Turns out the gas tank for my T500 cafe project is crap. Somebody reattached the mount on the back of the tank — its flattened & crooked. Was repainted & there is no telling what is under that.

Looking for a 1969 or 1970 gas tank because I would like to use the “S” tank badges.

That detail reminded me of this machine I have admired for many years. Notice the modified GT500 emblem also along with all the other goodies.



I know a ebay parts seller that is out of town but suppose to come back by the 1st with two T500's to part out and a couple of tote containers of parts. I don't know what models they are yet but I'll check in a few days and see if he's got a tank you could use.

I already have two NOS gold “S” badges & now need the tank.
