Solid/Straight GT750 Gas Tank needed

Post by Mgmark »

I need a better tank for new paint than what is on my custom 750. The painter can't pull the dents in mine because it has been sealed and he is afraid of delamination. So I need a solid tank, reasonably straight. Paint unimportant. I can clean interior rust. Please let me know if you have anything.

What style of tank - J. K/L/M, or A/B and how stock. I have a couple that have the badges covered over and no idea what they are like underneath plus one with a modern flat recessed filler cap.

Good point, I didn't think about the different models. I'm after a J/K/L/M style tank, preferably with badge holes intact. I'd like as good an original as I can find, dents are better than filler that has to be discovered and removed.
