Currently on the 72 GT550 that’s in my other post about the ugly fairing.
Will be removing the pipes sometime during the next month.

The right pipe has some damage.
None of the pipes have a baffles but instead have a plate welded on to the end.

I’m not that familiar with the GT550 frame.
Looking at how these pipes are mounted, I think they may actually be for a later-model GT550.

Don’t know if there would be any interest in these pipes.
But these might be useful as spares if you already have them on your GT550.

Make an offer if you are interested.

Double quadruple rats.
Took the pipes off & there was quite a bit of water in the pipes. No telling how long its been in there.
Motor does turn freely.

Bought a set of those NLA crank bearings from Paul Miller.
Am going to replace the seals & all of the crank bearings.

They were manufactured as J&R Power Pipes. I have a set that came off a GT750.

Not asking for much. I’ll never use them & just want them gone.

I’ve never shipped anything this big.
So a bigger question is what is the best/cheapest way to ship them to Canada?
Maybe someone has some suggestions?

Don’t think I would every guessed at trying to ship by bus.

I live fairly close to Pittsburgh & am in the general area of the Greyhound bus station from time to time.
Would not be a problem to drop the pipes off at the bus station.

The pipes are not currently at my house and I’m not sure how big a box would be required.

let me know what you want to do?
thanks
Kurt

I'll take $25 for the pipes + shipping costs.

Will likely take me a week or so to retrieve the pipes.
I might have a suitable box -- will find out after I get the pipes.
