Brown faced GT750 gauges

Post by Suzsmokeyallan »

Is anyone here on the board is interested in a set of three gauges for a 77 Buffalo. These units will be fully restored soon and ready for sale.
The speedo is in Km/h only, not miles.
Two strokes, its just that simple.

Allan,
You might want to check with Ian aka oldjapanesbikes on this site. I think he mentioned on his blog that he wanted to source a set of brown faced gauges for his "78" GT750 bike at some point.
Take care,
Bryan

Thanks for remembering Bryan ! I do have a full set of brown faced gauges now, and they will be on the bike for the 2010 riding season !

Probably not - a) I don't do camping, and b) I may still be in Ontario with the kids :D

Yes Ian they did turn out well considering how they originally looked and I've had them finished for a while.
I did put them on ebay already but nothing happened. Well technically thats not 100% true, something happened, just not enough of it, so i still have them,,,,LOL.
Two things are against these gauges selling quickly, the fact they are the one year 77 brown faced version and the other is the fact the speedo is in Kmh.

Allan,

They look great. Maybe you will have more luck with the Europeans.

try to get a listing on one of the German sites. Martin Krause or Gt Reiner may be able to generate some more interest for you.
