NICE!!!!!!!!!!!!! Too bad I am getting too old and I'm getting out of bikes. 10 years ago I'd scoop that up in a heart beat. + I'm in Oklahoma! Just about a mile from down town Tulsa. I truly envy the next owner.
I was born with nothing and still have most of it left.

Hi,never too old,I have an old friend, just turned 87 years young...
Still rides his collection of bikes,Suzuki T500 Cobra,Vincent's,Vellocettes, two modern Triumph Thruxtons.....I hope to be able to do this when I get to his age in 25 years time !!
Hello !
My name is Axel, I live in south France, I'm 40 years old, and... I just bought this bike !!!
I was searching for a 72 GT750, but in France this model is very very expensive (about 10000 Euros...)
I had seen it for sale a few monthes ago on Ebay.com ; I found it very nice, because I like unrestored bikes over all.
I took informations about shipping price and conditions, but selling price + shipping + french taxes were too expensive for me...
Then, the last month, I recognised it on Ebay.uk due to the tank emblem (a little part of paint is missing), and confirmed with total miles on the gauge !
I won the bid, and this wonderfull keetle arrived at my home yesterday.
Isn't it a beautiful story ??
Now I'd be very happy if I learnt more about its life, between 04/1972 and 09/2013...
Greetings from France !
Excuse my bad english, but I write based on my college remembres... and if was 25 years ago !
Hi Axel, greetings from Sydney Australia, congratulations on your purchase....the bike looks very nice & it's good to see them in an unrestored condition, hope she brings you lots of fun & enjoyment....but they need regular maintenance & riding to keep them at their best,as I'm sure you already know
Kind Regards,
Roger
Suzuki GT750A.
Hi Axel. Good to see a kettle in a original condition.. Just get it running, and use as is.. As where is it said, that as soon as you get your gt750, you must strip it down and restore it to factory?? These bikes will go up in value in there Original condition ..
Hello Roger and Kettle kid, and thanks for your sympatic messages.
Of course I'm going to let the bike in its unrestored condition. I had the chance to find one like that, it's wonderful !
In France, if you want a 72 GT750, you have no other way that buy one that has been restored ; the price is about 10000 euros...
I equally have an original 750 Four K3 ; I use this bike at least once a week to go to my work, and it's really a big pleasure to ride it. Hope it will be the same with the Keetle !
I think that buying a bike that needs a complete restoration is difficult : you willa have to do a perfect job if you want to have a good result. For example, you can't keep bad mufflers with a new tank paint... Or you can't buy a new seat if tank needs to be re-painted !
Sometimes, restoration price is higher that the bike itself... It's better to calculate before buying !
And what about you : do you have the pleasure to ride a Keetle ?
Happy to read you !
Sincerely,
Axel
Hi Axel, yes I love my '76 "A" model very much, she gives me a lot of enjoyment & a few headaches occasionally ha,ha,just part of the experiences with older motorcycles ! I always come home with a smile after a ride & that's the main thing.....I don't think I'll be selling her for a long time......
Cheers,
Roger.
