So Christmas has come and many members have gotten gifts they longed for. If you feel brave enough to post your bike related present or presents here, please feel free to let us know what you got. Pics are great too if you have them of the item.

We know Mike from down under got his helmet camera and so we should be seeing some ride footage from him soon, but what did Santa bring YOU.
Cost is not important, its the thought that counts.

Heres' me polished 'zorsts that Santa brung on his sledge - now fitted!!
A bit more work and more pics to come.
Pity the right outer isn't too good, but apparently it adds 'patina' whatever that is.

Scored many brownie points via a new dishwasher & an unavailable toy purchased for $50 over full retail via eBay.
Brownie points to be used later.

Alan - so you just had the pipes polished and not rechromed ? I've thought of trying that, but hadn't got around to it yet - did you manage to get much of an improvement ? 8)

Its great to hear and see the photos of gifts being talked about, tools, coats, helmet cameras, shiny exhaust pipes, a dishwasher and other more expensive "big boys toys".

Yes, much better even though the right outer isn't very well - quite speckly. It'll do until I find a better one.
The chrome reckoned it wouldn't have stood an acid dip so did the best they could. The re
st are very nice, but it does matter how bad they are originally as scrapes don't come out, light scuffs do though.

That polishing is a very good option on some "reasonable" looking pipes. Sometimes they are in a condition where we would refer to a them as above half decent, not really needing a rechroming if most of the cosmetic issues could be sorted.
I'm impressed by the results you were able to obtain.
