Suzuki 2 Strokes

Hey guys,
I'm new to the two stroke world and just picked up my first! I came home from Santa Barbara last night with a farm fresh GT550 that I can't wait to get running!

I found the frame number on the front like normal, but I don't know where to look for the engine number???

I will make a build thread once I start tearing into it, looking forward to getting input from this community.

It's on the horizontal shelf above the front engine mounting bolt - below the center exhaust port

Don't strip more than you have to and take plenty of pics before you take anything off.
