I've taken a particular interest in this bike but some how things are not quite right for the money and asking to much.
the only thing I've notice is no mirrors, wrong headlight and colour scheme for a K or L model(1974),done in an 'R' model
handle bar, seat pattern as well as the seat itself(GT??),different cables, any thing else I should know??

I'm hoping to get a decent one up to £2000.
if concourse maybe £3,000 but we know that aint gonna happen.

Re: tempted!!
Looks very nice, but as you say, there are some inconsistencies. "N" reg would make it an L or an M model wouldn't it? The seat looks like a Gt item to me.....and as you say, the headlamp is too early....
I would be wanting a correct bike for that amount of cash.

exactly .
I don't know why I keep tormenting myself with this bike malarkey.
my heart wants a two stroke but my head says no.
no room in the garage to work on one.
will I use it? not much.
the last T500 I had, I only did about 1300 miles or a bit less in the 2 or 3 years I had it.
also I'm concerned with it not being used much the seals etc will harden etc.
also when I take a look at other bikes for lesser price that to makes it hard to decide to.
in my younger years that all I ever ridden was two strokes from a little lambretta to a T350 Rebel and aT500'J'
it is only when I came back into biking around 86 that I started riding 4 stroke bikes , my 1st being a Suzuki GSX250 through to my last the nc.in between them I had 2 x GT500 and a T500m
I'm very happy with my new bike(Honda NC700X DCT ABS),over 70mpg two up.
if I had more space then that would've helped a lot in deciding.
I'm off on hols this weekend so I'll have two weeks to decided in sunny Turkey
