Why would anyone want to take cycles on the back of a bike and then ride the cycles?

My feet were designed to change gear and press a brake pedal - and ocasionally press an accelerator pedal when in the Santa Fé!
Think of how stupid the average person is, then realise that half of them are more stupid than that.
