I could of sworn I posted a new thread today. Even my Firefox history agrees with me.

Did the forum have a hiccup today?

A reply that I made on watercooled's thread is gone. I saw your thread about getting your cylinders done (with pictures) and replied to that one also. Not sure if that is the one that you are mentioning here.

Yep, that's the thread. Looks like all of this (Sat) morning disappeared (and maybe some of Friday night?).

I've had times in my life where I wished I could do that. ;)

The cylinders sure do look prurty, don't they?

Your cylinders look like new. Amazing work! I'm looking forward to seeing your bike when it is completed.

I can't wait until they get back to me (along with the crankshaft), so I can put the motor back together. Been putzing around my garage and basement, cleaning and fixing stuff. I have reached the point where I'm reassembling clean parts, vs. tearing down nasty 40 year old components.

This year's plan is to get the motor 100% done, and get the rest of the bike clean, functional, and safe. Ride it a little bit, and add to the list of things to do over next winter. By next riding season, I hope to have everything I'd like done, to make it a nice restored daily rider.

We will get together for lunch. Might be early in the Fall, but that is one of my goals.

Looks as my lost thread won't be coming back on its own, so I guess I'll repost it. I did a bit of research about vapor blasting before pulling the trigger to drop the $$$ and do it, so I thought it would make a good thread for the forum.

I apologize if your thread was lost, I migrated to a more stable and secure server this weekend, I guess there was some nameserver overlap and you posted on the old server.

Not a problem. At first, thought it may be old age coming on. After that, I wanted to point it out, in case there was an issue you need to address.

I recreated the thread, so all is good.
