That's the irony of it. It appears to have been posted (on the blog Dave linked to) to point out that the Dems are repeating history and the poster in the original blog seemed to ignore the actual outcome.

Hey you know the old saying - never let the facts get in the way of a good story.

And republicans understand that if a story is repeated often enough people eventually start to believe it whether it's true or utter fabrication. It's something that the dems don't quite get. The two groups/sides have very different ways of communicating. It's interesting to see.

World War II got America out of the Depression, not FDR's policies.

That's a good point Barry. Dubya tried that economic trick too , but it didn't work this time around.

World economics are of course a little more complex than single variable systems despite what politicians tell us. If you are a student of economic history, the parallels between the great depression and this slow recovery are striking.
