The 'mraxl' Suzuki GT Resources Site has moved

Post by oldjapanesebikes »

Dale (mraxl) has passed the baton to me to host and maintain the Suzuki GT Resources site that lived on the http://www.3cyl.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; site these past many years, freeing him up to spend more time on his Kawisaki Triples pages (http://kawtriple.com/mraxl/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) . The new home for his Suzuki material, plus the new material I will be adding is:

http://www.oldjapanesebikes.com/mraxl_G ... index.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

As always comments, (printable :lol: ) suggestions and offers of new material are welcomed ! There is still a lot of stuff to be posted as I am still wading through the loads of material Dale had as well as what I have collected, plus I am still playing with a few different 'looks', so you will see a lot of changes over the next couple of months. Your patience is appreciated.

Enjoy !

Ian,

It's looking great so far. There were a few dead links yesterday when I checked, but they are probably fixed by now. Great to see that data integrated with all the work you did on the field guide.

Thanks TZ/Dave - appreciated.

I uploaded another load of stuff yesterday and today - one of my problems is I can't test Windows browsers (Internet Explorer) as I junked my Windows operating systems and am running Linux, so all I have is Firefox and Chrome. I'm pretty sure some of the pages will not look right in anything older than IE7 or so, and I'm not sure about Safari. If people notice something that doesn't look quite right - or big white spaces on pages instead of slide shows and video :cry: perhaps you could PM me and I'll try to take a look.

Thanks ! 8)

I will be doing another upload in mid-October - taking a break to go and tour some wineries for a week in BC - its a tough life ...... :D

Happy to hear you're taking that over Ian! It seems like information is scattered all over the web so any consolidation to one all-inclusive site is a good thing, IMO. You're definately the right guy for the job. :up:

Just waiting for the turkey to cook (its Canadian Thanksgiving Day up here :up: :up: ) so I uploaded a few more pages in the articles section of the site - these are 1970's reviews and test rides that Dale scanned in and can be found at this link:

http://www.oldjapanesebikes.com/mraxl_G ... views.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Still debugging things so PM me if you notice a problem - I will be going back in and redoing some of first ones I put up as I need to standardise the menu options. :?

Enjoy ! 8)

Ian, just install the Oracle Virtual Machine, put Windows on that and you test IE against your changes, etc.

Thanks for all the work Ian! I've been reading through the period articles every day on my lunch break and have finished about 5. :roll: Definately good reads.
