Years ago when fizzies were £300 a group of lads with fizzies came in to my shop. big Doc martens, trousers halfway up thier legs, spiky hair braces the lot.
The leader , with his thumbs in his braces said, "ere mate do you tune two-strokes as well?"
I said "as well as who?"
He said "Me" then lowered his voice and said "i'll give you a tip on tuning fizzies. You know that restrictor plate that goes around by the carb?"
I said "you mean the disc valve"
He said "Yeah, well i cut some off and it goes like stink!"
I said "Yes a few millimetres"
"A few mill" he said "I took an inch off"
He took me to one side and whispered "I've taken it right out! It wont start at the moment but when it does its gonna fly"/
