if the guy or girl who owns it now want silly money for it,
I'll just walk away.
I'm also waiting for my local dealer if he can find a kawasaki w650 to test out over one week end.
and if I find that I'm happy(no sore butt) I probably go and buy one or maybe the new w800.

I rang an old freind up today regarding my old bike.
he said the guy still has it and only about 20 miles away.
and its off the road and has been since I last saw her.
hopefully will find out in the next couple of weeks,
so fingers x that he will sell it to me.
and what make it vso special is that its the same guy who I sold the bike to all those years ago.
even he decided not to sell it. it still be nice to meet up again.

I hate to see my old bikes. They never look as nice as when I sold them, so it's always a disappointment. Better to just let them go and retain the memories. They are always better in memory than in real life - funny how that works.

John I've only just picked up on this thread, great news

Just followed the DVLA vehicle checker route for my old T500, and she's no longer registered.

I was aware of the insurance checking website, but not that the DVLA had one for registrations.

Hope you're soon re-united
