OK guys, I'm loosin' it.

Post by Coyote »

About a week ago I noticed I had a NOS gas cap gasket (rubber ring) in stock. I was refurbishing a nice gas cap today and went right for where I saw it a few days ago. It's not there. 4 hours later, I can not find it anywhere. I don't know WTF I did with it. I know I have it, but just can't find the SOB.
It's here -- but where :?:
I was born with nothing and still have most of it left.

Look for the spot where you last put it. It should be there.

No, someone stole it! Yes, they broke into your garage and stole it. Check your chest 0' drawers, you probably have some underwear missing too. *

I have a similar problem. Every night someone breaks into my house and steals all my furniture and replaces it all with copies.

I wrote down all my concerns and put them in a stamped self addressed envelope, and mailed it, but it came back unanswered.

I know how you feel.

A while ago I bought three intake rubber connectors and when I finally got around to building the motor, there were only 2 left.

Did I loan one to someone when we we were working on porting?
Did the mice eat it?
Did the cat hide it?
Did I enter the twilight zone?

LOL! Usually how it goes Yote! Still looking for my nice Estwing hatchet that "went missing" (seems to be the new term nowadays) about 13 years ago. I have the sheath cover and refuse to buy another so have been getting by with my wobbly headed wood handle one from the Civil War to split kindling. My guess is the Cebery's took it. (I blame them for all missing items and am quite certain they have your gasket!)

I was thinking more along the lines of the headlights on my car. But I guess one should expect such a reply from you. Why is it always you Johnakay who has to surpass the boundaries. Make an effort to realize that not everyone is of your caliber nor thinks like you. Get your mind outta the gutter!!! :x
