A few pics from the local vintage meet today

Post by Coyote »

The weather was warm but super windy. Steady at 30 with gusts to 45. My son rode RedZone and I rode my GS1000 to the meet. Good turn out with 50+ bikes.

The dude leaning against the pole on the right is my son (black shirt). To his immediate left is RedZone. To the left of that is my GS1000 but is obliterated by the fat lady and her miniature dog.

I was born with nothing and still have most of it left.

There's a better view of your son in the first pix standing in front of the white van. :)

All great looking bikes, but I'd have to give the edge to the CB400 four, the RM 370 and the GS1000.

Thanks for the great pics, Coyote.
Nice turnout and it's really a pleasure to see lotsa Suzis for a change....
even if a lot of them are dirt bikes. I see a later TS400 lurking in the back in one pic, and it's a very nice one from what I can see.

A very nice 75 silver TS400 is there for sure, as is a GS1000 in the blue and white scheme waaaay over on the other side by the sidewalk. Did anyone see it?

Yeah, that 79 GS1000 was beautiful. Everyone had to vote for their favorite bike. I picked that one. Trophys were awarded in different catagories. The GS did not win one and neither did my bikes. Oh well, I have a trophy from winning Peoples Choice a couple of years ago :D
