Suzuki T-Shirt - Hatchet Racing

Post by Herman T »

I have a new t-shirt that is for Kevin (The Hatchet), the boards GT750 dragbike racer (watercooled). I removed the first sample picture of the back that you all saw on this post before and replaced it with the new design. Opinions?

I think the photo on the back should not have part of his helmet cut off, so the image needs opening up a bit to get that part in AND the wheelie bars.
Also if the complete photo was a bit bigger it would look better and it would also fill the back of the tee shirt up a bit more as well.
Two strokes, its just that simple.

Ditto to Allan's comments - sort those out and I'd be interested in at least one ! 8)

The cycle picture used in the design is exactly as it was received. It wasn't cropped and it can't be opened to include the entire helmet because it isn't there. I could get a picture of the helmet at the same angle and try to add it to the original picture but that could take a long time to get it right, if it could even be done.

The design would look great with the full helmet and wheelie bar being added to it. The helmet being above and the wheelie bar sticking out of the left side of what I have now. Only options I can think of are to get another picture of the bike, which I don't think I can or remove the bike completely from the design. If anyone has any ideas, I certainly will consider them.

The size of the design on the back of the shirt can't be made much bigger with the process that is being used. I can't find any DTG printers who will do the shirt at a decent cost and they are the only ones that can do a design that covers almost the entire back.

I want to thank you guys for your opinions of the initial design on the shirt. The full helmet has been drawn in and it looks great. I didn't think it could be done and look natural but it does. It's funny how a design can be created and the obvious isn't noticed. That's why I posted the picture on here so you guys could catch what I missed and you did. Thanks again.

The design on the back of the shirt can be made a little bigger but not a lot. Maybe an inch on each side and on the bottom. I'm not sure if the entire wheelie bar can be added and look right. Time will tell. I noticed a couple other things that I didn't like and those will be changed also. I hope to have another sample shirt in the next day or so.

Does it look real? The top of the helmet had to be drawn in.

I changed the back design picture that I posted before to the new shirt design picture. See my first post on this thread to see the new back design. I couldn't add the wheelie bar in but I think this is a big improvement over the first design.

No price was given so they've got to be FREE for us . Herman did you get any other colours of shirt done or only in the white and what was the final costing after the updates.
