bike scrap dealer!

Post by johnakay »

I just happened to pass one on the way home.
ah me thought I'll pop and see what stock they have in .
saw a grab rail hung up on the wall.
didn't recognize it so I ask the owner.
in a gravel voice with a ciggy hanging out side of his mouth GT380 Suzuki,
nope I said. its f%%king is he said.
the gt380 is a wide bike that looks to me came off a small bike.
to narrow for a big bike.
him- oh I just remembered it came off a GT750.
I just laugh. you don't know deya.
how he manage to stay in business is just beyond me.
no wonder the place looked as there's bugger all in it.
bitsa bikes and bitsa cars and two miserable face's.
If I wanted to make a life-long career out of
working with the mentally retarded I would
have opened a Harley Davidson Dealership

Nice turn of phrase   Those old style breaker yards are rapidly disappearing - there used to be one a mile from my brother's place in Delaware and last year someone from the north-east states came in and bought the entire yard, had it loaded into semi-trailers and its now a vacant lot ! 8)
