Base jumper?

How did they get out there at the first stage? The top of the tower used to be a "popular" place to commit suicide but they made it really hard to jump. I guess the Paris police don't like hosing off the mess on the sidewalk.

Saw a guy bungee jump from there in a movie once, think it was American Warewolf in Paris. Hit his head right on that arch seen in the distance. Ouch!
No really... it's supposed to smoke.

Its photoshopped. The focus & depth of field for the person is different than the tower. Shirt is in good focus but the shoes aren't, but then the beam is in pretty good focus.
