Absolutely Richard - the direct URL for it is:

http://www.oldjapanesebikes.com/Additio ... _valve.JPG" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Or you can just do the usual right click, save and then re-host it on your own site. I should mention that no serviceable oil lines were damaged in the process of taking that photo - that was a damaged one that leaked at one of the bends. Possibly had chaffed through, or been pinched by the cover at some point. 8)

John - I meant to ask - are you ? Good bunch of folks, most of whom seem to be Kettle Club members in the UK - I've noticed quite a few of them are also members of this board, the GT750 UK Yahoo board and also the Yahoo based Smoke Riders' board. 8)

no Ian.
I've thought about joining but some folks get rather uptight when I mention what I do.
and being that I don't own a gt750 and not likely to some may start a verble war.
to which our freind DJ knows only to well.
I joined the T20 forum but soon came off only one responded to my offer of a so called rare T20 rack.
just no pleasing in some folks.
the funny thing is that I can just about under cut every one else who make rails/rack and also I do one off etc , and some start a verble war fare with words you only join this forum to make money etc.
well I'm not running a charity thats for sure.

I hear ya Johnny, in their frame of mind they are thinking of a forum for info and a community.

You may have already thought of this but to introduce yourself or to respond to that question when it arises. Probably best to introduce yourself as such right off the bat.

_______________________________________________________________________________

My name is Johnny, I have restored a Suzuki T500 vintage bike and did some metal work on parts that were no longer available, others started asking me to make parts for them.

Now that I am retired I have the opportunity to do what I enjoy and that is to make parts for vintage bikes that people can no longer find at a reasonable price, chromed and ready to bolt-on. This keeps me busy and feeds my belly with food and my favorite beverage and keeps me out of the Ms. hair!

I got started on the Suzuki 2-Stroke Forum aka Sundial Moto Sports, you can check my history there or ask about me if need be. Here is a link to my thread at Sundial Moto.

Here is a photo of my bike and below and a few grab bars and racks I make.

Let me know if I need to delete this thread and put it in another spot and if anyone else are making these, my apologies my intentions are not to step on anyone's toe but if I can offer something they are not making, let me know. If you have a part I can copy we may be able to work something out there.

I made a few grammar corrections and spelling errors on the above post, I thought I proof read, apparently not well enough.

Ahhh....the socialists and purists. Please don't let commercialism rear its ugly head in our tight little world where we can escape reality.
God forbid that ANYONE would want to sell "imitation" parts AND have the gall to make a profit from such sales !!!
The horror, the horror....
Those people REALLY need to pull their heads out and see the world as it really is.
Seriously....why would the purists and socialists rather do without a particular part needed for their bikes because someone will make a profit from recreating that part ?? I will never understand the thought processes of some people.....
Pay no attention to those wankers and anoraks, John, and keep doing what you're doing. You wouldn't want to sell to people like that anyway. They'd drive you crazy moaning about the littlest things on your racks and moan some more about the price......assuming they would even have the money to be able to buy anything from you in the first place.
