If anyone on the board is paying attention to what you are buying then great, of not you're being royally sc**wed.
I guess most of you buy Scott blue shop towels, well they used to be 60 sheets per roll for as long as I can remember, then recently they SILENTLY went to 55 sheets per roll, Ooookkk so by now I'm watching you guys on your less sheet policy here.
Now, they are down to 52 sheets per roll, those sneaky SOBs.
Some of you are probably saying hmm no biggie; well consider this then, what else are the manufacturers doing that you haven't figured out or noticed,,,,yet.

All the toilet paper mfgs have reduced the size of the rolls. Oh they're selling you double mega rolls with twice as many sheets but the squares have gotten smaller. They've gone from close to a 5" x 5" square down to a 4" x 4". I noticed because we have a 4 roll holder in our master bathroom. One day I brought home a new 24 roll mega pack and loaded up the holder and the 4 rolls were almost 4 inches below the top of the holder where it used to be level with the top of the holder previously.

Tree ripe orange juice has introduced an easier to handle/pour/store carton of orange juice. What they don't tell you is their new carton is 59 ounces versus the usual 64 ounces!

And the one that really makes me laugh is Tropicana introduced a "light" orange juice with 50% lower sugar and calories. How do they make the orange juice light you ask? They add 50% water! And charge the same price!!!!! OJ usually has such a long shelf life that you could buy a full calorie carton and cut it with water at home and now you've got two cartons worth of OJ....

Gotta watch all these companies closely as they try to cut corners to keep in business....

Ever notice a gallon of pre-mixed (50/50) antifreeze cost about a dollar less than a gallon of straight stuff?

The dog food we buy used to be a 25 lb bag. Then it went to a 20 lb bag for same price. Now its down to a 17 lb bag, and the price went up. What the hell??

Locally they change the price on beer about every six weeks. First two 12 packs are cheaper than a case. Then a case is cheaper than two 12 packs. They basically train you to automatically grab a certain size due to it being a better price per can. Then they change the price so that if you aren't paying attention, you are buying it at a higher price per can without even realizing it. :?
