New Boots. Free product review for the forum.

Post by jkevinlilly »

Just got a new set of boots. :)

http://www.bootbay.com/bootbay/product. ... t=2&s_id=0" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Plan on heading out tomorrow and spending about 10-12 hours on Pinky over the next couple days. I figure that will give me a good chance to evaluate if they are worth the money. Except for if the waterproof part actually works, it is not supposed to rain.

I'll let you guys know what I think of them.

I like them. :up: Put 350+ motorcycle miles on them over the weekend. A little loose at the heel, but then again I am used to wearing lace up boots that can be tightened to fit your foot. Toe is a bit longer than what I am used to, but not enough to be a problem. Otherwise real comfortable. Look just like a plain black pair of harness boots from the 70's. The insole/sole absorbs more of the vibration than my $230 dollar work boots. They look a lot classier that the work boots too. :shock:

If it ever rains here again I will try them out in it and see if they leak.

i have a set of boots like that, i custom ordered them from our local leather shop. even had vibram soles put on. never used them on a bike because i dont want to scuff the toe lol. once they start getting soft use some leather conditioner. after they are comfortable, i now just give them a brush off with the same polish and brush i use on my combat boots for work.

Do you have a large-scale wholesalers business? Personally do not like to find suppliers in the B2B platform.
:shock:

My god man, get a grip. I was just making comments on something I purchased that is motorcycle related, in case someone else ever looked at purchasing them also. Had they been a piece of crap I would told everybody they were a piece of crap.

To report a spammer and have it removed, please use the Report Bad Post button Imageon the bottom right corner of the post, just above the REPLY button.

If everyone follows this process, spammers will be removed quickly. If people do not report the spammer, the admin could miss it. And when spammers find a forum where their spam is allowed to remain, they will turn their full attention to it and flood it.

Thanks!
