The one that got away

I just bought a negative to digital converter. This bike I bought in 1994 from the original owner for $800. He had bought the bike while attending college to get around campus. Graduated - got married - had kids and the bike just sat in the corner of his garrage. Had 8K on the clock and the bike was immaculate as you can tell. The only problem was rust in the tank. I sold the bike about a year later. 1976 GT550A.

That's a good looking bike. I wonder if that would have made a good starter bike for me? I've got to learn soon!

I asked some friends of mine (that ride "Harleys" ) if they would be interested in going with me to the Gap next year and here is their reply.

[quote]We've done Tail of the Dragon a couple times.. but JC has to talk to you... there's a better ride than that one... just not famous... although the Dragon is still fun.[quote]

I was wondering if anyone here has done any of the other rides?

Hi Mark, I think they were referring to another trail somewhere in the Carolinas. They return from vacation on the 9th, I'll ask them then.

I'm sure Texas has some beautiful country to exlore on a bike.

I've only been to the airport in Houston, but I did go to the Alamo and River Walk in San Antonio. I loved it!
