I've Moved to Michigan

Post by desmocat »

2009 has been a busy year for me, didn't get to race my T500 due to work comittments and my relocation from California to Michigan.

So Shoemaker Vintage Racing (and myself) now is located in Southfield MI (Detroit metro area).

I did get to do one race event with SMRI at Sandia Raceway in Albuquerque in October, flew in and raced my buddys CB400F. It was sure good to get back on the race track.

Cheers!!!

Ralph,

Welcome to the Midwest. Grattan and Mid Ohio are now local tracks for you. Join us at the race school in March at Grattan - as long as it doesn't snow again in 2010 on that weekend - it has happened.

And if you are in the Chicago area, be sure to drop in.

Some good people in Michigan in this community.

WOW, that's a big move. I HATE moving, and have to do it in two weeks, but at least it's only 100 miles for me.

Well Ralph, you must have a very good reason to come here from Cali. I'm surprised you made it here having to fight the masses leaving the state!
There are quite a few of us on here knocking the ice off the handlebars, Russ Chalmers and his infamous Great White Buffalo is in your neighborhood...
Welcome and best of luck, we are all struggling here... :?

My bike is a "bighole" I keep throwing money into, so I had to get another!

Hi Desmocat,

I'm originally from Windsor so know the area a bit. Where can I read about your racebike?
