I just won an original Suzuki dial gauge with all the fittings and storage box but minus the shorter probe rod for just under $40.00.
These have been selling for upwards of $150.00 on ebay so this one was a steal.
Two strokes, its just that simple.

You paid 72 British pounds which = 118.4184 U.S. dollars at todays rate using a currency converter.
Mines just like the one you won in the pic, but its missing the shorter probe

Suzukidave,

how much did you charge for the ones you supplied? Time to increase the price for the next run...

Here's a nice one but a little pricey

Or just buy one of these and modify a spark plug

Dave had a good thing going there with his gauges, maybe hes willing to make some 'on order' for board members.

Yep - that's what I did too although I bought the gauge from Princess Auto here in Canada - at less than $10 CDN it was a good deal and I've used it for years !! I wrote about it here.

They are a genuine delight to use, they are so well made. I borrowed an SGP gauge to set my timing and it was a breeze.

The little ball bearing on the probe tip deals with the offset spark plug hole angle and means the meter needle doesn't "jump" as the piston approaches TDC.
