that are fed up with all the cash for gold commercials. They are beginning to make me suicidal.
It is my understanding that this gold is poured into ingots and sold the the USG or Treasury Department. If the USG is so desperate for gold, Why don't THEY advertise and eliminate all these crooked assed middle men?
Iv'e had it with all this crap. "I owed the government over three million dollars in back taxes and only paid a fraction of that". Caption says $1800.
Or how about "Remember there is no obligation to repay if we don't win your case".
Sorry guys. I grew up when commercials were about 20 Mule Team Borax. Geritol, Serutan, Salvo, Mr. Clean, Formula 409, Tide, etc.
AARRRRRRGGGGhhhhhhh.

Time to turn off that TV Chris. Go out in the back yard with a six-pack and a cigarette, lean back in a chair, prop your feet up and just unwind. :)

Not to add fuel to the fire but back in the day lawyers couldn't advertise their services on TV. Now you see ambulance chasers all over the channels. It's really discusting.

I think that six pack in the back yard is a good idea. For me anyway. 8) :D

Talking about how things have changed as well, I came across some old photos with adverts on some local buses from the early 70s and they used to adverstise on the sides with panels, one of those being how to put on weight.
Does anyone remember the 'super wate on' formula for becoming bigger and looking healthy???, now the world seems to have eaten itself into a situation where a lot of people need just the opposite.
Two strokes, its just that simple.

I think it's debatable as to which one is worse for your health. No offense to the lawyers out there. I'm just referring to the ambulance chasers.

Don't apologize to attorneys. They and the financial services sector have been responsible, as a group, for the largest redistribution of wealth in this country's history.

Creating wealth used to be done by people like Ford who got rich by paying his workers a fair wage to make his cars. They made more money than ever and could eventually afford to buy the cars and everyone benefited. That's what creating wealth is about. In the last decade or so it has been about re-distribution from the masses to the relatively few.

Bankers with multi-million dollar bonuses, attorneys and their class action cases in which the people who make out like bandits are the greedy attorneys.

This is not what made America a rich nation, but it will bankrupt the nation and its population.

It's time to start talking about quality of life and that is what we want to improve.

Anyone else need to use this soap box?
