hi guys, the clear coat on my 73 gt750 is bubbled up on all the ridges and areas like under the edges and on the side pannel it is like treacle all ridges and thick ,
is there any way of removing the clear coat without damaging the paint.

if it's under the rideges of the tank, you might have a porous tank and slow leakage, it won't necessarly lift the color coat.
Otherwise, it's either incompatible systems or greasy parts. You often pick parts by the edges, but if done bare hand, you leave oily deposits… white gloves are a must between coats.
