Just taking a quick look around, I can't seem to notice where the Volt Reg is located. Can I buy a vowel?

Question:

Am I actually looking at the Reg? I guess I was expecting a solid state reg, but just find a relay with a coil to it.

That would be the one. We are talking 1971 technology here.

You could replace it with one from Tony at Oregon Motorcycle electrics or Eletrexworld in the UK

Yep, you're right. Time to update the regulator. Thanks for the help. I'm in contact with Tony. $50 and I'm up-to-date
