Guys, I decided that with the current interest rates, I probably should buy a house for myself, and not just pay for hers!! I found one that has a two-car garage, a deck, 2.2 acres of land (half-wooded), an 18X36 swimming pool, and a 20X24 SHOP!!!! It's just North of Columbia, SC in Blythewood. Yes, the loan is approved at 4.5% (VA)!
We plan to move in the first week in December. PS: my divorce will be finalized on November 3rd!!!
Woo-Hoo!!!! Good news all around!!!

Very nice house. I do have to say mine is paid off, so I will have to stick around. Some of the money that was going to a house payment can now go to my Suzuki. (for a little while) I have my eye on a '70's BMW that is crying for me to restore it!! Once I get the GT squared away, I am going to try to get the beemer.

I don't know about the Brit, but I am officially jealous. That's a beautiful home, and it has a nice long driveway to test your bikes traction on. Whats not to love. All kidding aside, its nice to hear things are evolving in a direction you can honestly live with. I went through the ex wife thing 25 years ago, and I know how good it feels when its done.
