Allan's and Rick's Semi-Wonderful Ride In Beeeyoootiful BC.
Semi-wonderful because Allan's Buffalo ate its rectifier (and consequently the battery) on the third day of the ride and caused him to lose a couple of days and thus he had to retire from the ride early.
Uncle H2, however, continued on for a grand total of EIGHT camping days !!!
Selected pics from the trip can be viewed here:

Youre rubbing it in Rick with the lovely big island pics, and ive only got a YEAR now to wait to make the trip properly next time.
I'm a bit surprised you did not take any of the Sproat Lake region though..

shame about Allans bike(next time you see Allan tell him he needs a hair cut)

my wife loves every minute on the bike but wont go camping.

Nope, John, she's lonnnngggggg past riding with me, let alone actually camping on a bike trip. She would NOT fare well on an 8 day trip on a motorcycle....even if we stayed in motels.
Soooo......this works out rather well because I'm not big on carrying a passenger.

Allan, I found the Cathedral Grove so interesting that I spent too much time there just wandering around taking pics of the trees and enjoying the cool shade. After that, I was scheduled to meet a guy in Nanaimo (from the KZ650 board) AND I still had to find a place to camp for the night......soooooo.....I just whizzed past Sproat Lake. Next year.....
