facebook is so dumb down. It's for the attention starved and immature. The site only exists to gather personal information to be sold to marketers.
At 55 my sister and brother wanted me to join. I tried it, but I could see more of their personal lives than I wanted to. I quit out after a month.

Worst mistake I ever made at 40yrs young joining.. I get so tired of people posting crap like"just poured myself a cup of coffee" "getting ready to cook breakfast" and all of those stupid games and polls, my gosh get a bike or I mean a life for petes sake....

I only joined to keep in contact with my sister in spain. what a load of crap.
I tried to delete my details etc but I cant. so I just go on to see if any emails but all I get is f**king human gifts,food fights oh and the bloody list goes on. the buggers on there must be mindless.

finally deleted my membership.

Never joined ANY of those sites and never will. They ALL remind me wayyyy too much of people who have "lifestyles"....rather than lives......and I get real nervous when someone talks to me about his/her "lifestyle".

I will say im on facebook but I joined when I was in college and hardly ever go on anymore now that im out in the real world. laugh all you want but in school it was awesome for stalking hott girls we would see around campus ha
