Some (very little really, there's so much there to look at you get spoiled for choice) of what was on display this year...

A veritable feast for the eyes!! I would have loved to have been there, but we had our own little gathering yesterday in the sun, in the park, and amongst friends. Couldn't ask for better. Cheers.

Well, Dave, I think you could almost give an "honourable mention" to that X75, IMO.

As for the rest.....that yellow Duke would make me break my "no less than 3 cylinders" rule if it drifted into my yard......

Thanks for the great pics, Paul.

Owning a Vincent is on my bucket-list, that's for sure... now where did I put that Lottery ticket?

Those guys come out of the woodwork every year - there seems to be a real secret society of Vincent owners in SE QLD, you never see them on the road but they just 'appear' at shows.
I'm sure they get out and about, only one or two of the bikes in that pic are concourse, the rest look like they've never been touched from the fifties.

BTW, the Black Shadow (in the first pic by itself) is absolutely incredible close-up.

Every single bolt/nut/washer/screw/wingnut/fitting is brushed, machined stainless steel. The paint is so lustrous it looks like there's a lake on the outside of the tank.
In fact every last part of it is immaculate - concourse in every respect of the concept.
I shudder to think what it's worth, a good Rapide starts at AU$40,000 over here.

I have pics from last year's Show and some stuff from local VJMC rallies as well that I can post in the next couple of days if you like.

Without a doubt, the prettiest bike at the Show, and I don't like Ducatis at all...

I didn't do it justice with the angle of the pic, but there were too many people about to get a really good shot.
