I didn't realise until I got the latest edition of Classic & M/C Mechanics that Rod Gibson, contributor for donkey's years and editor of the mag since 2003, died on June 28th, aged 54.
It was after a long fight with cancer. He'll be missed.

Yep, I heard that from a buddy the other day. It's a sad thing and I can't imagine who would be able to fill his shoes at CMM.
First Don Leeson (a noted Suzuki-phile/authority and a steady contributor to CMM)) and now Rod Gibson.
The classic bike scene has certainly taken two big hits, IMO.
