a rack with a backrest on my kwaka!

I know its not a classic but some of you may know that I just recently bought this Bike.
I made it like this due to my lovely wife grip problems.
she got the old arthritis in both her wrist.
so by adding a B/rest this will give her support and confident and able to relax a bit.
getting the brackets made took some doing due to shape etc.
as well as the frame.

I agree John...that rack is first rate. Very nice job on the metal work as well as the upholstered back rest.

Fantastic Johnny!! That looks like a factory rest/rack made for that bike.

cheers chaps.
I'll make another one but without the back rest and see how that sells.
on the old ER6 models the racks for them are £85 plus p&p.
but at the moment as far as I know no one is making any for these new models as the mounts are different and it ealy days yet.
this is the old model the rack is easy to make for this model.
due to the mounts location on the handle grip. as you can see above its different and harder to make.

That's great, John!!! Nice looking piece you've done there. Now if I could find that kind of thing for my Bandit.....
Ventura makes one but their prices are absolutely outrageous, IMO.

John: Many thanks for your kind offer. Unfortunately all the racks and bits in your first bunch of auctions are for the 1st or 2nd generation bikes and won't fit my 2006 model.
That second rack by itself looks the business....but it's pretty small for what I need....especially when I compare it to the Ventura.
Again, thanks for the offer.
