current making some grab rails and racks with what materials I have left.
enough roughly about 35 pieces,
these will be my last ever, been making these for nearly 20 years.
an end of an era as my wife and son says, lol
selling all my gear off,got a buyer but he wont be making grab rails to sell.
he'll mainly be working on GT750 as well as others.
he does restorations on the 750 two strokes.
also I'm selling my T500 as well.
I'm done with these old bikes.
anyway you lot take care and keep the rubber side down.

Another sad day for the hobby, although I can understand that when you've had 'enough' it's time to let go.

Good luck. And thanks for helping with the forum, and making those sweet grab rails & racks.

Here is a pic of your rack on my 69 T350 taken last year at the Steel City Mods Vs Rockers.

Sorry to see you go John.
I'm pretty well in the same boat. My 'daily' GS500 is sold.
I still have a couple of brits and my GT500, which after a painstaking resto I've never really ridden.
Maybe if in the unlikely event of health improvement I might give it a squirt.

thanks for your kind words.
my T500 ,I don't ride it fast enough there fore it get clogged up with two stroke oil.
so when I open her up to 70/80mph cloud of smoke.
it will need some one who is willing to open her up for long periods.
treated myself to a new bike a forza 750 most of you won't have a clue what this is so I've enclosed a picture..

Interesting. I don’t think Honda sells the Forza in the US. Uses the same engine as the NC750, which I’ve thought about getting.

We baby boomers are such a big chunk of the market. Looks like the manufacturers might be coming up with new interesting models for us a we get older.

All the best, John. Oddly, I was browsing an old copy of Classic Mechanics the other day and your green/white T500 was in the 'show us yours' section.

I sold my 380 a few years back when I holed a piston: I'd had the bike 18 years and loved it, but couldn't face the cost of a complete engine strip & rebuild (there was melted ally all over the crank), and then of course the frame needed re-stoving, and then I should really have the tank resprayed, the spannies done, etc etc .... so I decided to buy a bike that didn't need ongoing tinkering, that I could just get out of the garage and ride. I got an SV650. Great bike, it has soul.

Keep your shiny side up on the new bike!
