And to you sir. :)

I was just down through Galveston on the GT in August. We stayed at the Bayou Campground and quickly realized why there weren't many other tenters... very hot & humid! Hopefully you've got better riding weather there this time of year.

You have that right. I'll tell you, I lived most my life in Houston an many years in Galveston County and know about the heat and humidity but I don't remember the humidity being as bad but even stranger for such a long period without a break of at least a few days. :? Managed to do a pretty nice rattle can paint job on a spare T500 oil tank and a spare repaired sidecover but then the humidity set in just as I was almost finished with the fuel tank and I never completely finished it.

67 for a high today...a lot of sun after drenching thunderstorms during the night/early moring

You'll get no snubs from me. The CB was, and still is, a pretty cool bike and a great piece of motorcycle history.
